At the Moms Who Make It Conference, we’re honoring moms that are “making it.” We’re looking for moms who have had difficult life circumstances, but have used them as a catalyst to change their lives for the better. These are moms that have inspired you to look at your own life & think “I can make it, too.” Each of the “Moms Who Are Making It” will be honored at the Conference*. They will also be invited to attend the VIP Mocktail Party following the Conference to mingle with all the speakers & the CreatedByMom.com moms.
If you know of a mom that is “making it,” please email a quick summary (200 words or less) on why you think they should be honored at the Moms Who Make It Conference to momswhomakeit at createdbymom dot com.
Each mom submitted will go into a drawing where we will then draw 10 moms’ names out to be honored. The more times each mom is entered into the drawing, the more likely their name will be drawn.
We’re looking forward to sharing their stories & being inspired, like you have been inspired by them!

I’d like to nominate Melissa from Rawmelissa.com
Raw food chef, coach, teacher, doula, friend and full time mother who homeschools her children!! She has inspired me to step out into my own ventures and taught me that I can make it with a little hard work, and a lot of hope and orginization! She honestly loves people and makes amazing food. She’s a first rate doula, and loves to serve others.
She makes the world a better place to be in.
Way to go Melissa! You rock, momma!
ooh I second the motion for Melissa Chappel
love her and am so inspired by how she’s been able to support herself and her family creatively using her gifts and talents.
I third the nomination for Melissa Chappel. Her enthusiasm for life and ability to overcome challenges has inspired me, as well as so many others. Our first meeting sparked ideas for my personal business, for which I will forever be indebted…
I would like to nominate Tammy of http://prayingforparker.com!
I am truly amazed by her spirit and heart while she mothers not only a child with special needs but 5 other children as well. Her little boy is beyond medically fragile and she does so much for him and others around her on one seriously tiny budget!
Plus just getting out of the house is a big deal as she cannot leave her little boy unless there is a medically trained Tracheotomy sitter!!
I have seen her advocate for children with special needs, helping everyone realize that children are all children, no matter what!
She is extremely helpful to other new moms when they are looking for help and resources for their children. AND she is the editor of the 5minutesforspecialneeds.com site.
I promise if you don’t know Tammy, you should!
(was that under 200 words!? Sorry
